SAND Technology Attracts Former Deloitte & Touche Partner to Board of Directors

MONTREAL—April 25, 2007—SAND Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: SNDTF.OB), an international provider of intelligent enterprise information management software, today announced an important addition to its Board of Directors with former Deloitte & Touche partner Wayne Musselman.

Musselman, who retired in 2003 after 40 years with Deloitte & Touche, brings extensive experience in finance, accounting, risk assessment and control strategies to SAND’s board. As an independent director he will play an important role in monitoring the company’s commitment to successfully delivering intelligent information management solutions to enterprise companies.

Musselman also brings a wealth of business experience with regards to financial institutions, particularly in Japan and Indonesia.

In addition to serving on the boards of FaithLife and State Bank of India, Musselman is also on the boards of various non-profit organizations, including the Queen’s Theological College and Missionary Health Institute.
