MONTREAL – Jan. 10, 2007 – SAND Technology, Inc., (OTCBB: SNDTF.OB), an international provider of intelligent enterprise information management solutions, today announced that a large financial services advertiser has selected SAND/DNA Access™ software to more efficiently manage its 5 terabyte data warehouse system and facilitate the delivery of user-requested information online. The firm cited excellent data load and query performance, in addition to its high rate of data compression, as the reasons for its decision.

The firm is using SAND to tackle the challenge of efficiently storing information in a very large data warehouse, while allowing queried information to be returned quickly on an ad hoc basis. The speed at which the software can retrieve information was a primary factor in the customer’s decision to purchase SAND/DNA Access.
