Installing SAND CDBMS for Windows

System Configuration for SAND CDBMS Operation

To ensure adequate SAND CDBMS performance on Windows, the proper data throughput settings for network operation need to be made as follows:

Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server

1. Open the computer's Network and Dial-up Connections settings.
2. Right-click on the appropriate Local Area Connection icon and choose Properties.
3. Select File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks, then click the Properties button.
4. Select the Maximize data throughput for network applications option and click OK.

No special settings need to be made for Windows 2000 Professional.
