Topic: Setting Environment Variables for the ODBC Driver |
The SAND CDBMS CD-ROM contains the following files related to the ODBC driver:
libsando.so Nucleus ODBC driver (32-bit) libsando64.so Nucleus ODBC driver (64-bit) odbc.ini sample data source descriptions file nucleus.ini sample server connection information file readme.odbc ODBC driver information
The Nucleus ODBC Driver has been tested with the iODBC Driver Manager V3, available at www.iodbc.org. The current iODBC SDK may also be downloaded from http://oplweb.openlinksw.com/product/webmatrixsdk.asp.The default install directory is /usr/sand (that is, the same directory as the SAND CDBMS program files). However, the Nucleus ODBC Driver can reside in any directory as long as the location is specified by the DRIVER parameter in the odbc.ini file. The nucleus.ini file must be located in the SUPPORT directory specified in the NUCLEUS environment variable (that is, in the same location as the SAND CDBMS executable files and the ndb.n00 file).
