Nucleus ODBC Setup Guide for UNIX Clients

Overview

The Nucleus ODBC Driver for UNIX allows ODBC-enabled client applications running on HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, or Linux systems to connect to a SAND database instance. This section provides a guide to configuring and working with the Nucleus ODBC Driver for UNIX clients. For instructions on how to install the ODBC driver, consult the readme_odbc file included with the SAND CDBMS installation CD-ROM.

Note:
The ODBC Driver removes all square brackets characters ('[' and ']') from SQL strings passed to the SAND server.
