Part of AOL Time Warner, the world's largest media group, it was founded in 1995 in Hamburg and currently employs a staff of 1,250 at three separate locations. Its internet offerings include brand names like AOL, CompuServe and Netscape that are used by some 3 million people in Germany.

SAND/DNA aCRM provided AOL Germany the platform for delivering key customer information such as profitability levels, loyalty profiles and product usage patterns. This allows AOL Germany to proactively measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and customer retention programs.
